About Battle Gear 2
Battle Gear 2 was one of those games you'd find in the late 2000s, a time when Flash games were a common way to pass an afternoon. It fit right in with other simple strategy titles you could play directly in your browser. The game didn't make a big fuss about itself; it just loaded up and let you get to the action.
You control a base on one side of the screen, with the enemy's base directly opposite. Your main job is to destroy their headquarters before they destroy yours. You use the mouse to click on unit icons, sending out infantry, tanks, and sometimes aircraft in a steady stream across the battlefield. The pace is constant, almost relentless, as you manage your resources to keep producing units while trying to counter whatever the enemy throws at you. It can feel quite difficult, as a small lapse in attention can let the enemy's forces push through your defenses. The game feels like a tense, back-and-forth tug of war where every decision matters in the moment.
