About Baseball Championship

Baseball Championship was one of those simple Flash games you'd find in the mid-2000s. It fit right into that era of quick, accessible browser games you could play between other tasks. I don't recall the exact year or who made it, but it had that straightforward look and feel common to many sports titles on the platform at the time.

You control the batter. The moment-to-moment play is about timing your swing with the mouse as the pitcher throws the ball. Your main objective is to score runs by hitting the ball and getting your player around the bases. You click to swing, and the power of your hit seems tied to how well you time that click. Fielding is handled automatically, so the focus stays on your turn at bat. The game moves quickly, and the difficulty comes from the pitcher's varying speeds. It feels like a condensed version of baseball, where every swing counts.
