About Base Defense 2 - Monsters

Base Defense 2 - Monsters was one of those straightforward Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It didn't try to be anything more than a solid, quick-to-play tower defense experience. You loaded it up in your browser, and within seconds you were in the action, defending your base from waves of cartoonish monsters.

You control a stationary turret at the center of the screen. Your cursor aims it, and you click to fire at the approaching creatures. Between waves, a shop menu lets you pause the action to purchase upgrades; you might buy a faster firing rate, unlock a powerful laser, or save up for a screen-clearing rocket strike. The main objective is simple: survive as long as possible. The pacing starts slow but builds tension quickly as the monsters become faster and more numerous. Managing your limited funds for the right upgrades at the right time becomes the real challenge. It feels like a constant, satisfying scramble to stay one step ahead of the next wave.
