About Barnacle Brawl

Barnacle Brawl was one of those games you'd find in the later days of Flash, a straightforward action game built for a browser. It didn't try to be more than it was, which was a quick distraction between other tasks. You controlled a pirate on a ship, and the goal was simple: survive.

You move your character with the arrow keys, constantly fending off other pirates who board your vessel. The primary action is a basic sword slash, mapped to the A key, but you can also pick up dropped weapons like pistols or cannons by pressing S. The cannons are stationary on the deck, and you have to position yourself to use them against enemies on other ships. The pacing is relentless; enemies swarm from all sides, and the difficulty comes from managing the crowd. It feels chaotic and immediate, a test of simple reflexes in a confined space.
