About Bank Time

Bank Time was one of those straightforward Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It fit right in with the era's quick, browser based trivia. You sat down, clicked play, and within seconds you were in the middle of it.

You control a simple cursor, clicking to select answers from multiple choice questions. The main objective is to climb a money ladder by answering general knowledge questions correctly. Each right answer moves you up a rung and adds to your bank. The central mechanic is the severe penalty; a single wrong answer resets your earnings to zero. This happens against a sixty second timer, which forces quick decisions without overthinking. The pacing is relentless because of that combination of time pressure and the constant threat of a total reset. It feels like a tense race against your own nerves, where a moment's hesitation or a lucky guess makes all the difference.
