About Astronaut Throw
Astronaut Throw was one of those simple Flash games you'd find on a school computer or a casual gaming site. It came out during the peak of the Flash era, when a quick browser game could easily fill a few minutes. The premise was straightforward, and it didn't try to be anything more than that.
You control a character, often a yeti-like figure, who is tasked with launching an astronaut. Using your mouse, you click and drag to set the angle and power of the throw, then release to send the spaceman flying. The main goal is to see how far you can send him with each attempt. The game involves judging the trajectory and adjusting your throw based on the results. It moves quickly, with each attempt taking only seconds, but getting a truly long-distance throw requires some practice and feel. The experience is light and physical, focused on that single, satisfying motion of watching the astronaut sail through the air.
