About Arsenal
Arsenal was one of those games you'd find buried in the Flash game portals of the late 2000s. It didn't have a complicated story or fancy graphics. You just picked it up and started shooting.
You control a lone soldier from a top-down view, moving through a series of small, maze-like arenas. Your job is to clear each room of every enemy before moving to the next. The moment-to-moment play is simple: you use the mouse to aim and click to fire your rifle. You can find different weapons scattered around, like shotguns or machine guns, which change your rate of fire and strategy. The pacing is fast. Enemies rush you from all sides, and the difficulty ramps up quickly as new, tougher enemy types are introduced. It feels like a tense, chaotic scramble where a single mistake can end your run.
