About Army Of Destruction
Army of Destruction was one of those straightforward action games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a solid way to spend a few minutes, and that was its appeal. You were simply a soldier, or maybe a turret operator, placed in the middle of a city under siege. The goal was never in doubt: stop the invasion.
You control a fixed gun emplacement, using your mouse to aim and click to fire at waves of approaching enemies. The moment-to-moment play is about tracking different targets, from slow ground units to faster aerial drones, and switching between a small arsenal of weapons to handle them. Your main objective is to survive all the levels, protecting a central base or structure whose health bar is constantly under pressure. The pacing is relentless; the difficulty comes from the sheer number of targets and the need to prioritize threats quickly. It feels like a tense, noisy holding action against an endless tide.
