About Alpha Turret

Alpha Turret was one of those straightforward Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick test of reflexes, the kind of thing you'd play for a few minutes between other tasks. The screen was simple, usually just a static turret and an empty field waiting for targets to appear.

You control a stationary gun turret with your mouse, aiming at soldiers that run onto the screen from the left and right. Your job is to shoot them all before they can get close enough to plant explosives at your base. The game tracks your accuracy with a percentage, which adds a little pressure to make each shot count. You can switch between a standard rifle and a shotgun, and you have to manually reload when your clip is empty. The pace starts slow but builds steadily, with more enemies and faster movement as the waves progress. It feels tense and focused, a pure exercise in precision under a quiet, growing threat.
