About Air Invasion
Air Invasion was one of those straightforward shooters you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, accessible game you could play in a browser. The screen was usually filled with simple graphics and clear objectives, a common setup for that time.
You control a stationary gun turret at the bottom of the screen. Enemy paratroopers descend from the top, and your job is to shoot them before they land. The main objective is to survive wave after wave, clearing each screen of enemies. You click the mouse to fire, and sometimes destroyed enemies drop power-ups, like a rapid-fire spread shot, which you collect by moving your cursor over them. The pace is steady, with the difficulty ramping up as more enemies appear from different angles. It feels like a tense, reactive test of your aim and timing.
