About Adventure Mitch

Adventure Mitch was one of those Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s, a simple platformer with a clear inspiration. It didn't try to be more than it was, a straightforward action game you could load in a browser between other tasks. The presentation was basic, with a protagonist in a fedora navigating through caves and ruins.

You control Mitch, moving left and right with the arrow keys and jumping across gaps. The space bar lets you attack enemies, usually snakes or other creatures, with a basic whip or similar weapon. Your main goal is to get to the end of each stage, collecting coins scattered along the way for points. The game uses a lives system; a single hit from an enemy or hazard costs you one of your starting three lives, with no health meter to buffer mistakes. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty comes from precise jumps and timing your attacks as enemies become more persistent. It feels like a brisk, unforgiving test of your reflexes.
