About Abyss: Give Him A Monter
You control a character, often just a figure on the screen, who must defend against waves of ogres. The moment to moment play is rhythmic. You use the left and right arrow keys to swing your weapon, timing your strikes as the creatures approach from either side. Your main objective is straightforward: stop them from reaching you. The mechanics are built around this simple confrontation. You learn the timing of their movements, the reach of your attack, and the pace at which they come. The difficulty tends to ramp up, with more ogres or faster waves testing your reflexes. It feels like a tense, repetitive dance where a single mistimed key press can end your run.
