About 9 Ball Pool
9 Ball Pool was one of those straightforward games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, accessible pool simulation you could play in a browser. The interface was simple, the physics were predictable, and it filled a few minutes between other tasks perfectly.
You control the cue stick directly with your mouse. Positioning the cursor around the cue ball sets your angle, while pulling back from the ball determines the power of your shot. A left click sends the ball rolling. The main goal is to sink the numbered balls in sequence, from one through nine, before your opponent does. You play against computer AI that offers a decent challenge, or you can pass the mouse for a local two-player game. The pacing is deliberate, asking you to think about position for your next shot rather than just firing away. It feels clean and uncluttered, a quiet test of basic geometry and gentle force.
