About 8 Ball Pool
Back when Flash games were a regular part of browsing, 8 Ball Pool was one of those straightforward titles you could load and play. It arrived in the late 2000s, a product of Miniclip, and it filled a simple niche. There was no grand setup; you just opened it and were at the table.
You control the cue from a top-down view, lining up shots with your mouse. The main objective is to clear your assigned set of balls, stripes or solids, and then sink the eight ball to win. You adjust the angle by moving the cursor around the cue ball, then click and drag backward to set the power of your shot. A guide line shows the path, and you can add spin by moving the cue tip off-center before you shoot. The game moves at a deliberate pace, asking for consideration on each shot rather than quick reflexes. It feels like a quiet test of geometry and patience.
