Winter Olympics: Lillehammer '94 is a licensed simulation of the 1994 winter games. Its events are presented using 3D graphics and span five distinct sporting categories.

Players can choose between a full tournament or a shorter mini version, which differ in the total number of events contested. Before competing, there is an option to practice any event individually.

The sports include alpine skiing disciplines like downhill and slalom, ski jumping from two different heights, bobsleigh and luge events for various team sizes, and several formats of skating competition such as time trials and elimination races.
