About Ultimate NFL Coaches Club Football

This football simulation from MicroProse focuses on strategic management over direct control. Players assume a coaching role, making decisions between plays while the on-field action is then displayed automatically.

The game offers extensive customization tools, including a full playbook editor and the ability to modify all statistics for the 1994 NFL season. Users can also create entirely new teams and players to keep the content current.

Matches can be experienced through single games or a full league mode. The pace is fair, as the action pauses for play selection and substitutions before proceeding. For guidance, a computer coach can be consulted on each play, or the entire game can be simulated automatically beforehand.

Visual presentation uses 2D sprites with a choice of nine camera angles. Multiplayer is supported via a direct modem connection for one-on-one competition.
