About Super Cauldron

Super Cauldron is a DOS game featuring the witch Zmira, who must journey through four distinct worlds to recover her lost magical abilities and save her kingdom. Each world is subdivided into smaller, more manageable segments.

Gameplay involves navigating these areas while contending with enemies like bats, trolls, and snakes. These foes exhibit specific attack behaviors and can pursue the player across screen transitions. A key system allows for the collection and use of up to twelve different spells, selected via cursor or function keys. This arsenal includes more potent offensive options to replace the weak default attack, as well as utility magic such as conjuring staircases or dissolving metal barriers.

Environmental hazards require careful observation, as some bodies of water are instantly lethal while others, though visually identical, serve as passages to new areas. The game builds upon the foundation of its 8-bit predecessors, Cauldron and Cauldron II.
