About Steg the Slug

Steg the Slug is a game where the player controls a slug responsible for feeding a family called T'yungunz. The primary objective involves capturing grubs within bubbles and then guiding these bubbles to the nest.

Movement for Steg includes standard walking, along with the ability to climb walls and traverse ceilings. The environment contains various devices and hazards, such as bellows, spikes, and fire, which can destroy the bubbles. Some elements can be controlled via switches found in the levels.

Success requires delivering enough grubs to satisfy a specific number of T'yungunz, causing them to sleep. Failure to provide sufficient food results in their eventual death. To aid navigation, Steg can occasionally assemble equipment like a Rocket Pack or Bionic Legs from parts listed in the Acme Bionic Bitz Catalogue, offering alternative movement options.
