About Skunny: In The Wild West

Skunny: In The Wild West is a shareware platformer where the player controls a squirrel. The character's objective is to recover stolen sheep across ten levels, a task assigned by his mother through a malfunctioning time machine that has stranded him in this setting.

Gameplay involves navigating platforms and hazards while using a water pistol against various enemies. Some foes are permanently dispatched, while others respawn after a delay. Contact with enemies drains energy, and falling from a platform or depleting health results in losing one of four lives, forcing a restart from the level's beginning or a save point. Previously collected sheep are retained, but all enemies reappear.

Resources found in the environment include water for the pistol, health-restoring items, and boxes. These boxes can be carried and placed to create steps for reaching higher areas. The shareware release restricts access to the first two levels; the full registered version unlocks all ten, introduces additional enemies, and enables cheat codes.
