About Prehistorik 2

Prehistorik 2 is a platform game set in a prehistoric era, continuing the narrative from its predecessor. The player controls a caveman who wields a club against animal foes, with defeated enemies often dropping collectible items.

Exploration is encouraged through hidden areas, multiple exits within stages, and even entirely concealed levels. The club can be used to uncover additional bonuses beyond those found in the open. Unlike the first game, there is no mandatory food quota to meet for survival.

Progress is punctuated by boss encounters after several levels. Passwords for accessing stages are present in the environment, though these codes vary between different computer systems. A technical note for the Amstrad CPC version specifies its use of enhanced hardware for increased color, sprite detail, and parallax scrolling effects.
