About Nippon Safes, Inc.

Nippon Safes, Inc. is a cartoon adventure game set in Tokyo, developed by Dynabyte. Its gameplay involves controlling three distinct protagonists sequentially: Doug, a safe cracker; Dino, a boxer; and Donna, a club dancer. Each character navigates largely overlapping locations but pursues an individual storyline with specific puzzles.

The narrative structure is non-linear, allowing the player to select the order in which to complete the three separate sub-plots. These converge into a final sequence where all characters are involved. Italian humor defines the tone, presenting the adventure more as a comedy than a serious crime story.

Visuals are comics-style and cartoonish, supported by a unique icon-based interface. This title served as the precursor to the later game Big Red Adventure from the same developer.
