About Leisure Suit Larry 5: Passionate Patti Does a Little Undercover Work
Leisure Suit Larry 5: Passionate Patti Does a Little Undercover Work is a graphical adventure where players control two protagonists. The story follows Larry, who is employed by dubious new superiors, and Patti, who temporarily leaves her piano career to work undercover. Their separate investigations are unknowingly linked.
Interaction is managed through an icon-based interface selecting verbs like "Look" or "Use," a departure from the text parser of earlier series entries. The design is considered fair, as it removes permanent failure states and minimizes unwinnable scenarios. Progression is often possible even without solving specific puzzles, though optimal solutions yield higher scores.
Players alternate between Larry and Patti across different chapters. The gameplay focus shifts somewhat away from complex puzzle-solving compared to previous Sierra adventures.
