About King’s Quest VII: The Princeless Bride
The game is structured into chapters that alternate control between a queen and her daughter, who become separated in a fantastical land. Players guide these characters through an adventure focused on solving inventory puzzles.
Queen Valanice and Princess Rosella are transported to the world of Eldritch after Rosella pursues a magical creature. Their quest to reunite and confront a malevolent sorceress is complicated when Rosella is turned into a troll.
This installment departs from the series' prior realistic art, adopting a bright, cartoonish visual style. Interaction uses a simplified cursor system for examining objects and characters, moving away from the icon based interfaces of the two previous games and reducing reliance on text descriptions.
