About Jimmy White’s ‘Whirlwind’ Snooker

Jimmy White's 'Whirlwind' Snooker is a three-dimensional simulation of the sport. Players have extensive control over their shots, with adjustable power and spin, while a visual guide on the table displays the projected trajectory of the cue ball.

The perspective is fully adjustable, allowing the virtual table and cue to be viewed from numerous angles. A separate mode is included for attempting various trick shots, though the selection is noted to exclude certain well-known physical stunts. An unusual feature involves the game balls displaying animated, impatient expressions if the player takes too long to make a shot.
