About Free D.C!

Free D.C! is set in a future where robots have taken over the planet, keeping the last humans in a zoo alongside important American relics. The player is tasked with solving a series of murders within a strict twelve-hour timeframe.

Unlike many adventure games of its era, it deemphasizes traditional puzzles and instead relies heavily on dialogue with other characters to gather clues. The structure is non-linear, allowing investigation to proceed in a flexible order. Its presentation uses Claymation for character graphics and incorporates sampled speech for its audio.
