About Dr. Doom’s Revenge

Dr. Doom's Revenge is a side-scrolling fighting game where players control two Marvel superheroes, Spider-Man and Captain America. The narrative, detailed in included comic materials, involves the duo traveling to Latveria to stop its ruler, Dr. Doom, from detonating a stolen atomic bomb in New York City.

Gameplay involves alternating control between the two characters, each possessing a unique set of combat moves. Players face numerous adversaries, including supervillains such as Electro and The Rhino. A health indicator decreases for each character as they sustain damage during these encounters.

Progress through the game's stages is punctuated by comic-book style sequences. These interludes both reward the player and advance the storyline.
