About Cosmic Spacehead

Cosmic Spacehead is a DOS game that blends two distinct gameplay modes. The player assists Linus, an alien who has returned home after a crash landing on Earth but cannot prove his journey occurred.

To gather evidence, the player must guide Linus back to Earth. This involves navigating through different lands, interacting with characters, and locating items. Communication and puzzle-solving use a point-and-select interface for constructing sentences, a system employed in other contemporary adventure titles.

Progress often requires completing side-scrolling platform sequences. These action segments involve avoiding hazards and traversing dangerous terrain. Once a player successfully completes one of these challenges, it does not need to be repeated upon returning to that area, making subsequent exploration fair. The game supports interrupted play by providing passwords to save progress.
