About Command & Conquer: The Covert Operations

Command & Conquer: The Covert Operations functions as an expansion, introducing a set of fifteen new single-player missions. These are divided between the two factions, with eight for Nod and seven for GDI.

The expansion is compatible with two versions of the base game: the original release and the later Windows Special Gold Edition. Its new missions are designed to be challenging, surpassing the difficulty found in the original campaign, and they can be tackled in any sequence.

Previously exclusive to multiplayer, certain units like Nod chem troopers and SSM launchers are integrated into these new scenarios. Ten additional maps are provided for multiplayer matches.

Compared to the original campaigns, The Covert Operations missions feature more frequent scripted events like airborne reinforcements.

Although a Commando can capture the helicopter, it is much advised to use the Engineer for this task instead.
In the new missions the Brotherhood gets to use Apache helicopters that only make a rare appearance in the original Nod campaign.
The Apache can attack many otherwise formidable ground targets with relative impunity.
