About Bill Elliott’s NASCAR Challenge

Bill Elliott's NASCAR Challenge presents a simulation of stock car racing from a driver's perspective. The experience is viewed through the windshield, with the environment rendered in flat shaded polygonal graphics.

Players can engage with a practice session or commit to a full race event. The selection includes six real world circuits, among them well known venues like Talladega and Watkins Glen.

Vehicle options feature licensed models from manufacturers such as Ford and Pontiac. These cars are fully configurable, allowing for aerodynamic adjustments. Racing dynamics incorporate the drafting effect, where closely following another car reduces air resistance.

A replay function is available, operated through controls that mimic a video cassette recorder. This allows for the review of key moments after they occur.
