About BattleStar

Bataille pour Sirius adapts the battleship concept to a space setting. Players position five vessels each before engaging in turn based combat to eliminate the opponent's fleet.

Targeting is managed with a cursor controlled by arrow keys, with weapon selection and firing executed via keyboard commands. The game supports both solo play against a computer opponent and a two player mode.

Three weapon types are available, each affecting a different area of the grid. A standard missile strikes one cell, while a plasma weapon hits three cells in a row. The most powerful option is an antimatter blast that destroys a three by three square. The supply of the plasma and antimatter weapons is limited but regenerates over time, introducing a resource management element to the fair pacing.

Visual feedback is provided after each shot. A miss turns the targeted cell grey, whereas a successful hit changes all affected parts of the struck ship to a mauve color.
