About Battlehawks 1942

This World War II Pacific Theatre flight simulation allows players to assume the role of a pilot for either the American or Japanese forces. The experience is structured around four distinct operational campaigns.

Beyond its function as a game, the software incorporates an educational aspect through a detailed manual containing extensive historical reference material. The simulation features a roster of twelve aircraft, counting variants, and approximately twenty different ship types.

It is recognized as the initial entry in a trilogy of WWII air combat titles developed by Lucasfilm and Lawrence Holland.
