About Ace Ventura
Ace Ventura is a DOS adventure game adapted from the animated television series. The player controls a pet detective who assists animals across various locations, including Alaska, Vulcania, and Bavaria. Its tone incorporates adult oriented humor through dialogue and scenarios, though without explicit content, in a manner comparable to the Leisure Suit Larry series.
Interaction is handled through a point and click interface for navigation and object manipulation. The gameplay blends traditional inventory based puzzles with numerous action oriented mini games. A menu accessible via the character's watch allows for saving progress and adjusting settings.
