About 1000 Miglia

1000 Miglia is a DOS racing game that simulates a historic long-distance automobile competition across Italy. The player manages a vehicle from the 1920s, navigating through multiple timed stages where maintaining schedule is essential to continue.

Before the race begins, players select a car and allocate skill points for two drivers, customizing attributes such as Skill, Resistance, and Mechanics. A strategic choice involves picking which spare parts to carry, as mechanical failures like a lost wheel will occur during the event. Having the correct part allows for a repair that costs several minutes; without it, the attempt ends immediately.

The journey is complicated by shifting atmospheric conditions, which can include clear weather, rain, or mist. This combination of vehicle management, driver preparation, and environmental factors makes the overall experience challenging.
